Red Ribbon Week:

This week we are joining schools across the country in celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  At Elda, we are focusing on celebrating positive preventative factors in our student's lives.

This week is packed full of fun:

  • Monday: I am proud to be me! Students will celebrate with a special video where their teachers share things they like about themselves!
  • Tuesday: I am a bucket filler! Students hear the book "Have you filled a bucket today?" during lunch!
  • Wednesday: I like my strong and healthy body! We will celebrate movement and fitness by wearing our favorite sports team gear and working some very fun movement into our school day!
  • Thursday: I have a bright future ahead of me! Students will wear a sticker during the day showing what they want to be when they grow up. There will also be a fun video seeing what their teachers wanted to be when they were kids! Spoiler Alert: most of us working at Elda are literally living the dream!
  • Friday: I am an important community member! Wear your Ross Rams spirit wear and return to school your decorated and cut out hand to add to our community art project.
